3D-bioprinting of pre-vascularised autologous gingival substitutes for oral soft tissue regeneration

Is an Associate Professor and Head of Periodontology at the University of Bordeaux and Bordeaux University Hospital (CHU de Bordeaux). She divides her time between teaching, clinical care, and research. She teaches periodontology and oral implantology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and since 2024, she has co-directed the postgraduate diploma in oral implantology. She recently became the South-West Interregional Coordinator for oral medicine interns (DES MBD). Her clinical work at Bordeaux University Hospital focuses on periodontal surgery, implant dentistry, as well as hard and soft tissue management. She leads the Periodontology and Dental Prosthetics Unit at Pellegrin Hospital. Her research at BioTis (INSERM U1026) concentrates on oral regeneration and soft tissue engineering, particularly using pre-vascularisation and 3D bioprinting. In 2023–2024, she received an Osteology Foundation Research Scholarship and spent a year at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zurich.
