Is an expert in bone biology and skeletal regeneration, holding the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Bordeaux and researcher at the BioTis unit (INSERM U1026). She specializes in studying the role of osteocytes—key cells in bone remodeling—and investigates the cellular mechanisms involved in bone loss and repair, particularly in response to factors such as alcohol, biomaterial implantation or aging. She currently leads a research project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) focused on the role of osteocytes in bone repair, utilizing animal models, advanced genetic techniques, imaging, and tissue engineering to better understand and improve bone regeneration. Through her multidisciplinary and translational approach, she actively contributes to developing innovative therapeutic strategies for bone diseases.
